ANTA Enters Alliance with NBA China
to Launch Co-Branded Products
in China in Joint Promotion of Basketball

(Hong Kong, 13 October 2014) ANTA Sports Products Limited (“ANTA Sports” or the “Company”, stock code: 2020), is pleased to announce in Beijing today that ANTA Sports became the official marketing partner of NBA China and licensee of the NBA, in which the Company can use the NBA logo as well as logos of the current 30 NBA teams, NBA’s legendary teams and NBA events on its adult and kids basketball shoes and accessories. This is the first time for the NBA to launch co-branded products with a domestic sportswear brand. “ANTA-NBA” co-branded basketball shoes of popular teams like Rockets, Spurs, Bulls and Lakers have already been unveiled on the launching ceremony. The co-branded basketball shoes and accessories are available starting today at over 2,000 ANTA stores in China. In addition to launching co-branded products, the Company will promote basketball in China along with the NBA, with participation in fan interaction events such as “NBA Nation”, “NBA All-star Balloting in China” and the “Team Priceless - ANTA Universities League”.
Basketball has long been the most popular team sport in China in terms of getting attention and levels of participation, and Chinese consumers have strong demand for basketball sportswear. In order to cater to the differentiated demand of adult and children, ANTA Sports has launched a series of basketball shoes with the NBA, including the “League Series” featuring the NBA logo and the “Team Series” inspired by NBA team logos and colour schemes in the design. Apart from basketball shoes, ANTA Sports will also launch NBA-themed accessories that include backpacks, socks and wristlets. Consumers not only can purchase these co-branded products at offline ANTA stores, but can also purchase the related shoes and accessories at ANTA’s self-owned online flagship store (www.anta.cn), ANTA Tmall store (anta.tmall.com) and ANTA JD store (anta.jd.com).
In addition, ANTA Sports will be the official partner of “NBA Nation” in 2015, joining hands with the NBA to promote basketball development in China. “NBA Nation” is the NBA’s biggest free-of-charge fan-interactive touring event, providing diversified on-site events and skills contests for basketball fans of every age group. This year’s “NBA All-Star Balloting in China” will officially start soon as well. Fans who have voted will also have the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw to win ANTA’s NBA-themed gifts. Meanwhile, the “Team Priceless - ANTA Universities League” co-organised by ANTA Sports and the NBA kicked off today at Renmin University of China in Beijing. This is a five-on-five basketball league involving nearly hundred universities throughout China. NBA legends will also visit selected cities for on-site interaction with fans. Outstanding students and teams will have the chance to attend basketball training camps organised by ANTA-endorsed NBA players every summer.
